3
For what I received1 I passed on to you2 as of first importancea: that Christ died for our sins3 according to the Scriptures,44
that he was buried,5 that he was raised6 on the third day7 according to the Scriptures,85
and that he appeared to Peter,b9 and then to the Twelve.106
After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep.117
Then he appeared to James,12 then to all the apostles,138
and last of all he appeared to me also,14 as to one abnormally born.

For I am the least of the apostles15 and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted16 the church of God.1710
But by the grace18 of God I am what I am, and his grace to me19 was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them20--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.2111
Whether, then, it was I or they,22 this is what we preach, and this is what you believed.
