Albert Barnes, Author

Albert Barnes (1798-1870) was one of the leading theologians to come out of Princeton Theological Seminary. He was the pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Philadelphia and president of the Pennsylvania Bible Society. He was a leader of the New School branch of Presbyterians during the Old School-New School Controversy.
