Joseph Addison Alexander, Author

Educated at Princeton University, Joseph Addison Alexander (1809-1860) went on to be the chair of oriental and biblical literature at Princeton in 1840. He became famed for his eloquence as a Presbyterian minister, showing a special interest in the study of Hebrew and other languages.
