Now 1I exhort you, 2brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all aagree and that there be no b3divisions among you, but that you be cmade complete in 4the same mind and in the same judgment.

For I have been informed concerning you, my brethren, by Chloe's people, that there are quarrels among you.

Now I mean this, that 5each one of you is saying, "I am of Paul," and "I of 6Apollos," and "I of 7Cephas," and "I of Christ."

dHas Christ been divided ? Paul was not crucified for you, was he? Or were you 8baptized ein the name of Paul ?

fI thank God that I 9baptized none of you except 10Crispus and 11Gaius,

so that no one would say you were baptized gin my name.

Now I did baptize also the 12household of Stephanas ; beyond that, I do not know whether I baptized any other.
17
13For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, 14not in hcleverness of speech, so that the cross of Christ would not be made void.
