and receive from him anything we ask,1 because we obey his commands2 and do what pleases him.323
And this is his command: to believe4 in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ,5 and to love one another as he commanded us.624
Those who obey his commands7 live in him,8 and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.9
