51You youngermen, likewise, 2be subject to your elders; and all of you, clothe yourselves with 3humility toward oneanother, for 4GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVESGRACE TO THE HUMBLE.
6Therefore5humble yourselves under the mightyhand of God, that He may exalt you at the propertime,
7castingall your 6anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.
87Be of sober spirit, 8be on the alert. Your adversary, 9the devil, prowlsaroundlike a roaring10lion, seekingsomeone to devour.
9a11But resist him, 12firm in your faith, knowing that 13the sameexperiences of suffering are being accomplished by your bbrethren who are in the world.
After you have suffered14for a littlewhile, the 15God of allgrace, who 16called you to His 17eternalglory in Christ, will Himself18perfect, 19confirm, strengthen and establish you.
1120To Him be dominionforever and ever. Amen.
