1 ¹Paul and ²Silvanus and ³Timothy, To the ⁴church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ : ⁵Grace to you and peace. 2 ⁶We give thanks to God always for all of you, ⁷making mention of you in our prayers ; 3 constantly bearing in mind your ⁸work of faith and labor of ⁹love and ^a¹⁰steadfastness of hope ^bin our Lord Jesus Christ in the presence of ¹¹our God and Father, 4 knowing, ¹²brethren beloved by God, ¹³His choice of you;
