3As I besoughtthee to abide stillatEphesus, when I wentintoMacedonia,that thou mightest chargesome that they teachno other doctrine ,
4Neither give heed to fablesandendlessgenealogies,whichministerquestions,ratherthangodlyedifyingwhich is infaith: so do.
5Now the end of the commandmentischarity out of a pureheart,and of a goodconscience,and of faithunfeigned:6
From whichsome having swerved have turned asideunto vain jangling;7Desiring to be teachers of the law ; understandingneitherwhat they say , norwhereoftheyaffirm .
8But we knowthat the law is good,if a manuseitlawfully;9Knowingthis,that the lawisnotmade for a righteous man,but for the lawlessanddisobedient, for the ungodlyand for sinners, for unholyandprofane, for murderers of fathersand murderers of mothers, for manslayers,10
For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons,and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sounddoctrine;11According to the gloriousgospel of the blessedGod,which was committed tomytrust .
