Do not deceive yourselves. If any one of you thinks he is wise1 by the standards of this age,2 he should become a "fool" so that he may become wise.
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness3 in God's sight. As it is written: "He catches the wise in their craftiness"a;420
and again, "The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile."b521
So then, no more boasting about men!6 All things are yours,722
whether Paul or Apollos8 or Cephasc9 or the world or life or death or the present or the future10--all are yours,
and you are of Christ,11 and Christ is of God.
