Young's Literal Translation
Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
But as it is written , Eye hath not seen , nor ear heard , neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned .
Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;
Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.
Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.
For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.
I suppose therefore that this is good for the present distress, I say, that it is good for a man so to be .
Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also?
But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.
If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink ; for to morrow we die .
All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men , another flesh of beasts , another of fishes, and another of birds.
And so it is written , The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
