1 Corinthians 4:6; 1 Corinthians 10:13; 1 Corinthians 10:30 (New American Standard)

6 Now these things, brethren, I have figuratively applied to myself and Apollos for your sakes, so that in us you may learn not to exceed what is written, so that no one of you will become arrogant in behalf of one against the other. 13 No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it. 30 If I partake with thankfulness, why am I slandered concerning that for which I give thanks?
