18 He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD, saying , Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him. 2 Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying , So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by to morrow about this time. 5 And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat . 7 And the angel of the LORD came again the second time, and touched him, and said , Arise and eat ; because the journey is too great for thee. 2 And he sent messengers to Ahab king of Israel into the city, and said unto him, Thus saith Benhadad, 5 And the messengers came again , and said , Thus speaketh Benhadad, saying , Although I have sent unto thee, saying , Thou shalt deliver me thy silver, and thy gold, and thy wives, and thy children; 9 Wherefore he said unto the messengers of Benhadad, Tell my lord the king, All that thou didst send for to thy servant at the first I will do : but this thing I may not do . And the messengers departed , and brought him word again . 13 And the messenger that was gone to call Micaiah spake unto him, saying , Behold now, the words of the prophets declare good unto the king with one mouth: let thy word, I pray thee, be like the word of one of them, and speak that which is good.
