13 Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved , but her voice was not heard : therefore Eli thought she had been drunken. 1 And Hannah prayed , and said , My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies ; because I rejoice in thy salvation. 13 And when he came , lo, Eli sat upon a seat by the wayside watching : for his heart trembled for the ark of God. And when the man came into the city, and told it, all the city cried out . 20 And about the time of her death the women that stood by her said unto her, Fear not; for thou hast born a son. But she answered not, neither did she regard it. 6 Wherefore then do ye harden your hearts, as the Egyptians and Pharaoh hardened their hearts? when he had wrought wonderfully among them, did they not let the people go , and they departed ? 20 And as for thine asses that were lost three days ago, set not thy mind on them; for they are found . And on whom is all the desire of Israel? Is it not on thee, and on all thy father's house? 9 And it was so, that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to pass that day. 26 And Saul also went home to Gibeah; and there went with him a band of men, whose hearts God had touched . 32 And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine. 5 And it came to pass afterward, that David's heart smote him, because he had cut off Saul's skirt. 31 That this shall be no grief unto thee, nor offence of heart unto my lord, either that thou hast shed blood causeless, or that my lord hath avenged himself: but when the LORD shall have dealt well with my lord, then remember thine handmaid. 36 And Abigail came to Nabal; and, behold, he held a feast in his house, like the feast of a king; and Nabal's heart was merry within him, for he was very drunken: wherefore she told him nothing, less or more, until the morning light. 37 But it came to pass in the morning, when the wine was gone out of Nabal, and his wife had told him these things, that his heart died within him, and he became as a stone. 1 And David said in his heart, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul: there is nothing better for me than that I should speedily escape into the land of the Philistines; and Saul shall despair of me, to seek me any more in any coast of Israel: so shall I escape out of his hand. 5 And when Saul saw the host of the Philistines, he was afraid , and his heart greatly trembled .
