101You, however, have followed my teaching, my conduct, my aim in life, my faith, my patience, my love, my steadfastness,
my persecutions and sufferings that happened to me 2at Antioch, 3at Iconium, and 4at Lystra--which persecutions I endured; yet 5from them all 6the Lord rescued me.
Indeed, all who desire to 7live a godly life in Christ Jesus 8will be persecuted,
while 9evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and 10being deceived.
But as for you, 11continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whoma you learned it
and how 12from childhood you have been acquainted with 13the sacred writings, 14which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
1615All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
that 16the man of Godb may be competent, 17equipped 18for every good work.
