14 The son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and his father was a man of Tyre, skilful to work in gold, and in silver, in brass, in iron, in stone, and in timber, in purple, in blue, and in fine linen, and in crimson; also to grave any manner of graving, and to find out every device which shall be put to him, with thy cunning men, and with the cunning men of my lord David thy father. 11 And Solomon brought up the daughter of Pharaoh out of the city of David unto the house that he had built for her: for he said , My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, because the places are holy, whereunto the ark of the LORD hath come . 18 And Rehoboam took him Mahalath the daughter of Jerimoth the son of David to wife, and Abihail the daughter of Eliab the son of Jesse; 21 And Rehoboam loved Maachah the daughter of Absalom above all his wives and his concubines: (for he took eighteen wives, and threescore concubines; and begat twenty and eight sons, and threescore daughters.) 21 But Abijah waxed mighty , and married fourteen wives, and begat twenty and two sons, and sixteen daughters. 13 And all Judah stood before the LORD, with their little ones, their wives, and their children. 6 And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, like as did the house of Ahab: for he had the daughter of Ahab to wife: and he wrought that which was evil in the eyes of the LORD. 14 Behold, with a great plague will the LORD smite thy people, and thy children, and thy wives, and all thy goods: 17 And they came up into Judah, and brake into it, and carried away all the substance that was found in the king's house, and his sons also, and his wives; so that there was never a son left him, save Jehoahaz, the youngest of his sons. 11 But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king's sons that were slain , and put him and his nurse in a bedchamber . So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of king Jehoram, the wife of Jehoiada the priest, (for she was the sister of Ahaziah,) hid him from Athaliah, so that she slew him not. 3 And Jehoiada took for him two wives; and he begat sons and daughters. 18 And Joash king of Israel sent to Amaziah king of Judah, saying , The thistle that was in Lebanon sent to the cedar that was in Lebanon, saying , Give thy daughter to my son to wife: and there passed by a wild beast that was in Lebanon, and trode down the thistle. 8 And the children of Israel carried away captive of their brethren two hundred thousand, women, sons, and daughters, and took also away much spoil from them, and brought the spoil to Samaria. 9 For, lo, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and our daughters and our wives are in captivity for this. 18 And to the genealogy of all their little ones, their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, through all the congregation: for in their set office they sanctified themselves in holiness: 22 And Hilkiah, and they that the king had appointed, went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvath , the son of Hasrah, keeper of the wardrobe; (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the college:) and they spake to her to that effect.
