Then Solomon assembled to Jerusalem the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the leaders of the fathers' households of the sons of Israel, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion.
Then Asa was angry with the seer and put him in prison , for he was enraged at him for this. And Asa oppressed some of the people at the same time.
So Edom revolted against Judah to this day. Then Libnah revolted at the same time against his rule, because he had forsaken the LORD God of his fathers.
And all the people of Judah took Uzziah, who was sixteen years old, and made him king in the place of his father Amaziah.
Azariah the chief priest and all the priests looked at him, and behold, he was leprous on his forehead; and they hurried him out of there, and he himself also hastened to get out because the LORD had smitten him.
Now in the time of his distress this same King Ahaz became yet more unfaithful to the LORD .
'Has not the same Hezekiah taken away His high places and His altars, and said to Judah and Jerusalem, "You shall worship before one altar, and on it you shall burn incense "?
