2 Corinthians 2:3; 2 Corinthians 6:10; 2 Corinthians 7:7; 2 Corinthians 7:9; 2 Corinthians 7:13; 2 Corinthians 7:16; 2 Corinthians 13:9; 2 Corinthians 13:11 (King James Version)

3 And I wrote this same unto you, lest, when I came , I should have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice ; having confidence in you all, that my joy is the joy of you all. 10 As sorrowful , yet alway rejoicing ; as poor, yet making many rich ; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things. 7 And not by his coming only, but by the consolation wherewith he was comforted in you, when he told us your earnest desire, your mourning, your fervent mind toward me; so that I rejoiced the more. 9 Now I rejoice , not that ye were made sorry , but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing. 13 Therefore we were comforted in your comfort: yea, and exceedingly the more joyed we for the joy of Titus, because his spirit was refreshed by you all. 16 I rejoice therefore that I have confidence in you in all things. 9 For we are glad , when we are weak , and ye are strong: and this also we wish , even your perfection. 11 Finally, brethren, farewell . Be perfect , be of good comfort , be of one mind , live in peace ; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
