Now Elisha said to the king of Israel, "What do I have to do with you? Go to the prophets of your father and to the prophets of your mother." And the king of Israel said to him, "No, for the LORD has called these three kings together to give them into the hand of Moab."
He said to him, "Say now to her, 'Behold, you have been careful for us with all this care ; what can I do for you? Would you be spoken for to the king or to the captain of the army ?' " And she answered, "I live among my own people."
So he said, "What then is to be done for her?" And Gehazi answered, "Truly she has no son and her husband is old."

Then Hazael said, "But what is your servant, who is but a dog, that he should do this great thing ?" And Elisha answered, "The LORD has shown me that you will be king over Aram."
So he departed from Elisha and returned to his master, who said to him, "What did Elisha say to you?" And he answered, "He told me that you would surely recover."
So a horseman went to meet him and said, "Thus says the king, 'Is it peace ?' " And Jehu said, "What have you to do with peace ? Turn behind me." And the watchman reported, "The messenger came to them, but he did not return."
Then he sent out a second horseman, who came to them and said, "Thus says the king, 'Is it peace ?' " And Jehu answered, "What have you to do with peace ? Turn behind me."
Then Isaiah the prophet came to King Hezekiah and said to him, "What did these men say, and from where have they come to you?" And Hezekiah said, "They have come from a far country, from Babylon."
He said, "What have they seen in your house ?" So Hezekiah answered, "They have seen all that is in my house ; there is nothing among my treasuries that I have not shown them."
Then he said, "What is this monument that I see ?" And the men of the city told him, "It is the grave of the man of God who came from Judah and proclaimed these things which you have done against the altar of Bethel."
