When they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica,1 where there was a Jewish synagogue.

As his custom was, Paul went into the synagogue,2 and on three Sabbath3 days he reasoned with them from the Scriptures,43
explaining and proving that the Christa had to suffer5 and rise from the dead.6 "This Jesus I am proclaiming to you is the Christ,b "7 he said.
