I beg of you, 1brethren, 2become as I am, for I also have become as you are. You have done me nowrong;
but you know that it was because of a abodilyillness that I preached the gospel to you the bfirsttime;
and that which was a ctrial to you in my dbodilycondition you did not despiseoreloathe, but 3you received me as an angel of God, as 4ChristJesus Himself.
15Wherethen is fthat sense of blessing you had? For I bear you witness that, ifpossible, you would have plucked out your eyes and given them to me.
16So have I become your enemy5by gtelling you the truth?
They eagerlyseek you, not commendably, but they wish to shut you out so that you will seek them.
But it is goodalways to be eagerlysought in a commendablehmanner, and 6not onlywhen I ampresent with you.
197My children, with whom8I amagain in laboruntil9Christ is formed in you-
but I could wish to be present with you now and to change my tone, for 10I amperplexedabout you.
