For you were called to 1freedom, brethren; 2only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but throughlove3serveoneanother.
For 4the wholeLaw is fulfilled in oneword, in the statement, "5YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF."
But if you 6bite and devouroneanother, takecare that you are not consumed by oneanother.
But I say, 7walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out 8the desire of the flesh.
For 9the fleshasets its desireagainst the Spirit, and the Spiritagainst the flesh; for these are in opposition to oneanother, 10so that you may not do the things that you bplease.
But if you are 11led by the Spirit, 12you are not under the Law.
19Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: c13immorality, impurity, sensuality,
20idolatry, 14sorcery, enmities, 15strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, 16disputes, dissensions, d17factions,
21envying, 18drunkenness, carousing, and things likethese, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practicesuchthings will not 19inherit the kingdom of God.
But 20the fruit of the Spirit is 21love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23gentleness, 22self-control; againstsuchthings23there is nolaw.
24Nowthose who ebelong to 24ChristJesus have 25crucified the flesh with its passions and 26desires.
25If we live by the Spirit, let us alsofwalk27by the Spirit.
Let us not become28boastful, challengingoneanother, envyingoneanother.
