View In My Bible
6 And God said,1 "Let there be an expanse2 between the waters3 to separate water from water." 7 So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it.4 And it was so.5 8 God called6 the expanse "sky."7 And there was evening, and there was morning8--the second day. 9 And God said, "Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place,9 and let dry ground10 appear." And it was so.11 10 God called12 the dry ground "land," and the gathered waters13 he called "seas."14 And God saw that it was good.15 11 Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation:16 seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.17" And it was so.18 12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds19 and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.20 13 And there was evening, and there was morning21--the third day.
