The LORD appeared1 to Isaac and said, "Do not go down to Egypt;2 live in the land where I tell you to live.33
Stay in this land for a while,4 and I will be with you5 and will bless you.6 For to you and your descendants I will give all these lands7 and will confirm the oath I swore to your father Abraham.8
