14 Therefore, since we have a great ¹high priest who has ²passed through the heavens, Jesus ³the Son of God, let us hold fast our ⁴confession. 15 For we do not have ⁵a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been ⁶tempted in all things as we are, yet ⁷without sin. 16 Therefore let us ⁸draw near with ⁹confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
