Woe to those who deeply1hide their plans from the LORD, And whose 2deeds are done in a darkplace, And they say, "3Whosees us?" or "Whoknows us?"

You turn things around! Shall the potter be considered as equal with the clay, That 4what is made would say to its maker, "He did not make me"; Or what is formedsay to him who formed it, "He has nounderstanding "?

17 Is it not yet just a littlewhile Before Lebanon will be turned into a 5fertilefield, And the fertilefield will be considered as a forest?

On that day the 6deaf will hear7words of a book, And out of their gloom and darkness the 8eyes of the blind will see.

The 9afflicted also will increase their gladness in the LORD, And the 10needy of mankind will rejoice in the HolyOne of Israel.

For the 11ruthless will come to an end and the 12scorner will be finished, Indeed 13all who are intent on doingevil will be cutoff;

Who cause a person to be indicted by a word, And 14ensnare him who adjudicates at the gate, And 15defraud the one in the right with meaninglessarguments.

Thereforethussays the LORD, whoredeemed16Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob: "Jacob17shall not now be ashamed, nor shall his facenowturnpale;

But when he sees his 18children, the 19work of My hands, in his midst, They will sanctify My name; Indeed, they will 20sanctify the HolyOne of Jacob And will stand in awe of the God of Israel.

"Those who 21err in mind will 22know the truth, And those who criticize will 23acceptinstruction.
