20Butwilt thou know , Ovainman,thatfaithwithoutworksisdead?21WasnotAbrahamourfatherjustifiedbyworks, when he had offeredIsaachissonupon the altar?22
Seest thouhowfaithwrought with hisworks,andbyworkswasfaith made perfect ?
23And the scripture was fulfilled which saith , AbrahambelievedGod,and it was imputed unto himforrighteousness:and he was called the Friend of God.24
Ye seethen how thatbyworks a man is justified , andnotbyfaithonly.25LikewisealsowasnotRahab the harlotjustifiedbyworks, when she had received the messengers,and had sent them outanotherway?26Foras the bodywithout the spiritcisdead,sofaithwithoutworksisdeadalso.
