Then the LORDspoke to Moses, saying,
2"This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing. 1Now he shall be brought to the priest,

and the priest shall go2out to the outside of the camp. Thus the priest shall look, and if the ainfection of leprosy has been healed in the leper,
4
then the priest shall giveorders to taketwolivecleanbirds and 3cedarwood and a bscarletstring and hyssop for the one who is to be cleansed.

"The priest shall also giveorders to slay the onebird in an earthenwarevesselovercrunningwater.
6
"As for the livebird, he shall take it together with 4the cedarwood and the dscarletstring and the 5hyssop, and shall dip them and the livebird in the blood of the bird that was slainover the erunningwater.
7
"6He shall then sprinkleseventimes the one who is to be cleansed from the leprosy and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the livebirdgofreeover the openfield.
8
"7The one to be cleansed shall then wash his clothes and shaveoffall his hair and bathe in water and 8be clean. Now afterward, he may enter the camp, but he 9shall stayoutside his tent for sevendays.

"It will be on the seventhday that he shall shaveoffall his hair : he shall shave his head and his beard and his eyebrows , even all his hair. He shall then wash his clothes and bathe his fbody in water and 10be clean.

"Now on the eighthday he is to taketwomalelambswithoutdefect, and a yearlingewelambwithoutdefect, and three-tenths of an gephah of fineflourmixed with oil for a grain offering, and oneh11log of oil ;

and the priest who pronounces him clean shall present the man to be cleansed and the iaforesaid before the LORD at the doorway of the tent of meeting.

"Then the priest shall take the onemalelamb and bring it for a 12guiltoffering, with the j13log of oil, and present them as a 14waveofferingbefore the LORD.

"Next he shall slaughter the malelamb in 15the placewhere they slaughter the sinoffering and the burntoffering, at the place of the sanctuary -for the guiltoffering, 16like the sinoffering, belongs to the priest ; it is mostholy.

"The priest shall then takesome of the blood of the 17guiltoffering, and the priest shall put it on 18the lobe of the rightear of the one to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his righthand and on the bigtoe of his rightfoot.

"The priest shall also takesome of the k19log of oil, and pour it into his leftpalm ;

the priest shall then dip his right-handfinger into the oil that is in his leftpalm, and with his fingersprinklesome of the oilseventimesbefore the LORD.
17
"Of the remainingoilwhich is in his palm, the priest shall put some on the rightearlobe of the one to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his righthand, and on the bigtoe of his rightfoot, on the blood of the guiltoffering ;
18
while the rest of the oil that is in the priest'spalm, he shall put on the head of the one to be cleansed. So the priest shall make20atonement on his behalfbefore the LORD.

"The priest shall next offer the 21sinoffering and makeatonement for the one to be cleansed from his uncleanness. Then afterward, he shall slaughter the burntoffering.
20
"The priest shall offer up the burntoffering and the grain offering on the altar. Thus the priest shall makeatonement for him, and 22he will be clean.
21
"23But if he is poor and his lmeans are insufficient, then he is to takeonemalelamb for a 24guiltoffering as a waveoffering to makeatonement for him, and one-tenth of an mephah of fineflourmixed with oil for a grain offering, and a n25log of oil,

and twoturtledovesortwoyoungpigeonswhichoare within his means, 26the one shall be a 27sinoffering and the other a burntoffering.

"28Then the eighthday he shall bring them for his cleansing to the priest, at the doorway of the tent of meeting, before the LORD.
24
"The priest shall take the lamb of the guiltoffering and 29the plog of oil, and the priest shall offer them for a waveofferingbefore the LORD.
25
"Next he shall slaughter the lamb of the guiltoffering ; and the priest is to takesome of the blood of the guiltoffering and put it on 30the lobe of the rightear of the one to be cleansed and on the thumb of his righthand and on the bigtoe of his rightfoot.

"The priest shall also poursome of the oil into his leftpalm ;
27
and with his right-handfinger the priest shall sprinklesome of the oil that is in his leftpalmseventimesbefore the LORD.
28
"The priest shall then putsome of the oil that is in his palm on the lobe of the rightear of the one to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his righthand and on the bigtoe of his rightfoot, on the place of the blood of the guiltoffering.
29
"Moreover, the rest of the oil that is in the priest'spalm he shall put on the head of the one to be cleansed, to makeatonement on his behalfbefore the LORD.
30
"He shall then offerone of the turtledovesoryoungpigeons, qwhich are within his means.
31
"He shall offer whatrhe can afford , 31the one for a sinoffering and the other for a burntoffering, together with the grain offering. So the priest shall makeatonementbefore the LORD on behalf of the one to be cleansed.
32"This is the law for him in whom there is an infection of leprosy, whosesmeans are limited for his cleansing."
