81Do not rejoice over me, O 2my enemy. Though I fall I will 3rise; Though I dwell in darkness, the LORD is a 4light for me.
I will bear the indignation of the LORDBecause I have sinned against Him, Until He 5pleads my case and executesjustice for me. He will bring me out to the 6light, And I will see His a7righteousness.
Then my enemy will see, And shame will cover her who 8said to me, "Where is the LORD your God?" My eyes will look on her; bAt that time she will cbe 9trampleddown Like mire of the streets.
It will be a day for 10building your walls. On that day will your boundary be extended.
It will be a day when dthey will 11come to you From Assyria and the cities of Egypt, From Egypt even to the eEuphrates, Even from sea to sea and mountain to mountain.
And the earth will become12desolatebecause of her inhabitants, On account of the 13fruit of their deeds.
1414Shepherd Your people with Your 15scepter, The flock of Your fpossession Which dwells by itself in the woodland, In the midst of ga fruitfulfield. Let them feed in 16Bashan and Gilead17As in the days of old.
"As in the days when you came out from the land of Egypt, I will showh18you miracles."
16Nations19will see and be ashamed Of all their might. They will 20put their hand on their mouth, Their ears will be deaf.
They will 21lick the dust like a serpent, Like 22reptiles of the earth. They will come23trembling out of their ifortresses; To the LORD our God they will come in 24dread And they will be afraidbefore You.
18Who is a Godlike You, who 25pardonsiniquity And passesover the rebelliousact of the 26remnant of His jpossession? He does not 27retain His angerforever, Because He 28delights in kunchanginglove.
He will againhavecompassion on us; 29He will tread our iniquitiesunderfoot. Yes, You will 30castallltheir sins Into the depths of the sea.
You will givem31truth to Jacob And nunchanginglove to Abraham, Which You 32swore to our forefathers From the days of old.
