As for the villages with their fields, some of the people of Judah lived in Kiriath Arba1 and its surrounding settlements, in Dibon2 and its settlements, in Jekabzeel and its villages,

in Jeshua, in Moladah,3 in Beth Pelet,4

in Hazar Shual,5 in Beersheba6 and its settlements,

in Ziklag,7 in Mekonah and its settlements,

in En Rimmon, in Zorah,8 in Jarmuth,9

Zanoah,10 Adullam11 and their villages, in Lachish12 and its fields, and in Azekah13 and its settlements. So they were living all the way from Beersheba14 to the Valley of Hinnom.
