I have taken an oath3 and confirmed it, that I will follow your righteous laws.4107
I have suffered much; preserve my life,5 O LORD, according to your word.

Accept, O LORD, the willing praise of my mouth,6 and teach me your laws.7109
Though I constantly take my life in my hands,8 I will not forget9 your law.

The wicked have set a snare10 for me, but I have not strayed11 from your precepts.

Your statutes are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart.12112
My heart is set13 on keeping your decrees to the very end.14
