Psalm 27:3-9 (New International Version)

View In My Bible
3 Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear;1 though war break out against me, even then will I be confident.2 4 One thing3 I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life,4 to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple. 5 For in the day of trouble5 he will keep me safe6 in his dwelling; he will hide me7 in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon a rock.8 6 Then my head will be exalted9 above the enemies who surround me;10 at his tabernacle will I sacrifice11 with shouts of joy;12 I will sing13 and make music14 to the LORD. 7 Hear my voice15 when I call, O LORD; be merciful to me and answer me.16 8 My heart says of you, "Seek hisa face!17" Your face, LORD, I will seek. 9 Do not hide your face18 from me, do not turn your servant away in anger;19 you have been my helper.20 Do not reject me or forsake21 me, O God my Savior.22
