Daughters of kings1 are among your honored women; at your right hand2 is the royal bride3 in gold of Ophir.4

Listen, O daughter,5 consider6 and give ear: Forget your people7 and your father's house.

The king is enthralled by your beauty;8 honor9 him, for he is your lord.10

The Daughter of Tyre11 will come with a gift,a12 men of wealth will seek your favor.

All glorious13 is the princess within [her chamber]; her gown is interwoven with gold.14

In embroidered garments15 she is led to the king;16 her virgin companions17 follow her and are brought to you.

They are led in with joy and gladness;18 they enter the palace of the king.

Your sons will take the place of your fathers; you will make them princes19 throughout the land.

I will perpetuate your memory through all generations;20 therefore the nations will praise you21 for ever and ever.22
