The waters1 saw you, O God, the waters saw you and writhed;2 the very depths were convulsed.
17
The clouds poured down water,3 the skies resounded with thunder;4 your arrows5 flashed back and forth.

Your thunder was heard in the whirlwind,6 your lightning7 lit up the world; the earth trembled and quaked.8
19
Your path9 led through the sea,10 your way through the mighty waters, though your footprints were not seen.
20
You led your people11 like a flock12 by the hand of Moses and Aaron.13
