I am not ashamed of the gospel,1 because it is the power of God2 that brings salvation to everyone who believes:3 first to the Jew,4 then to the Gentile.517
For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed6--a righteousness that is by faith7 from first to last,a just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith."b8
