And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said , (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)
Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out .
Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know :
And when they had set them in the midst, they asked , By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?
Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and said , Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.
So Paul departed from among them.
And when there arose a great dissension, the chief captain, fearing lest Paul should have been pulled in pieces of them, commanded the soldiers to go down , and to take him by force from among them, and to bring him into the castle.
At midday , O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.
But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said , Sirs , ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.
But when the fourteenth night was come , as we were driven up and down in Adria, about midnight the shipmen deemed that they drew near to some country;
