15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said , (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,) 7 And the word of God increased ; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith. 6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake , hearing and seeing the miracles which he did . 24 For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord. 26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass , that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. 45 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming . 11 And when the people saw what Paul had done , they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men. 14 Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out , 18 And with these sayings scarce restrained they the people, that they had not done sacrifice unto them. 19 And there came thither certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and, having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead . 22 And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them. 8 And they troubled the people and the rulers of the city, when they heard these things. 26 Moreover ye see and hear , that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands: 33 And they drew Alexander out of the multitude, the Jews putting him forward . And Alexander beckoned with the hand, and would have made his defence unto the people. 35 And when the townclerk had appeased the people, he said , Ye men of Ephesus, what man is there that knoweth not how that the city of the Ephesians is a worshipper of the great goddess Diana, and of the image which fell down from Jupiter? 27 And when the seven days were almost ended , the Jews which were of Asia, when they saw him in the temple, stirred up all the people, and laid hands on him, 34 And some cried one thing, some another, among the multitude: and when he could not know the certainty for the tumult, he commanded him to be carried into the castle. 12 And they neither found me in the temple disputing with any man, neither raising up the people , neither in the synagogues, nor in the city: 18 Whereupon certain Jews from Asia found me purified in the temple, neither with multitude, nor with tumult.
