1 The former treatise have I made , O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach , 22 Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance . 35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. 37 That word, I say, ye know , which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached ; 4 But Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning , and expounded it by order unto them, saying , 15 And as I began to speak , the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. 26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard , they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly. 2 And when he was called forth , Tertullus began to accuse him, saying , Seeing that by thee we enjoy great quietness, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy providence, 35 And when he had thus spoken , he took bread, and gave thanks to God in presence of them all: and when he had broken it, he began to eat .
