22 Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection. 24 And they prayed , and said , Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen , 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together , and were confounded , because that every man heard them speak in his own language. 32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. 28 And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar. 26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed , and the bounds of their habitation; 27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him , though he be not far from every one of us: 31 Therefore watch , and remember , that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. 19 And when he had saluted them, he declared particularly what things God had wrought among the Gentiles by his ministry. 26 Then Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them entered into the temple, to signify the accomplishment of the days of purification, until that an offering should be offered for every one of them. 6 But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question . 17 Then Paul called one of the centurions unto him, and said , Bring this young man unto the chief captain: for he hath a certain thing to tell him. 25 And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed , after that Paul had spoken one word , Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers,
