3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: 38 This is he , that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us: 41 And he gave her his hand, and lifted her up , and when he had called the saints and widows, presented her alive . 42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead. 15 And saying , Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein : 28 For in him we live , and move , and have our being ; as certain also of your own poets have said , For we are also his offspring. 12 And they brought the young man alive , and were not a little comforted . 22 And they gave him audience unto this word, and then lifted up their voices, and said , Away with such a fellow from the earth: for it is not fit that he should live . 19 But had certain questions against him of their own superstition, and of one Jesus, which was dead , whom Paul affirmed to be alive . 24 And Festus said , King Agrippa, and all men which are here present with us, ye see this man, about whom all the multitude of the Jews have dealt with me, both at Jerusalem, and also here, crying that he ought not to live any longer. 5 Which knew me from the beginning, if they would testify , that after the most straitest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee. 4 And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live .
