9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld , he was taken up ; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 1 Then said the high priest, Are these things so? 7 And the nation to whom they shall be in bondage will I judge , said God: and after that shall they come forth , and serve me in this place. 54 When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart , and they gnashed on him with their teeth. 44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. 18 When they heard these things, they held their peace , and glorified God, saying , Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life. 17 But he, beckoning unto them with the hand to hold their peace , declared unto them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said , Go shew these things unto James, and to the brethren. And he departed , and went into another place. 20 And after that he gave unto them judges about the space of four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the prophet. 42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath. 15 And saying , Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein : 18 And with these sayings scarce restrained they the people, that they had not done sacrifice unto them. 16 After this I will return , and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down ; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up : 38 And the serjeants told these words unto the magistrates: and they feared , when they heard that they were Romans. 11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily , whether those things were so. 20 For thou bringest certain strange things to our ears: we would know therefore what these things mean . 1 After these things Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth; 21 After these things were ended , Paul purposed in the spirit, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying , After I have been there, I must also see Rome. 41 And when he had thus spoken , he dismissed the assembly. 36 And when he had thus spoken , he kneeled down , and prayed with them all. 12 And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem. 22 So the chief captain then let the young man depart , and charged him, See thou tell no man that thou hast shewed these things to me. 9 And the Jews also assented , saying that these things were so. 22 And when Felix heard these things, having more perfect knowledge of that way, he deferred them, and said , When Lysias the chief captain shall come down , I will know the uttermost of your matter. 24 And as he thus spake for himself , Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, thou art beside thyself ; much learning doth make thee mad . 30 And when he had thus spoken , the king rose up , and the governor, and Bernice, and they that sat with them: 35 And when he had thus spoken , he took bread, and gave thanks to God in presence of them all: and when he had broken it, he began to eat . 29 And when he had said these words, the Jews departed , and had great reasoning among themselves.
