For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off , even as many as the Lord our God shall call .
And to him they agreed : and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go .
Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said , It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.
As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted , the Holy Ghost said , Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.
Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.
And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.
And after the uproar was ceased , Paul called unto him the disciples, and embraced them, and departed for to go into Macedonia.
Then Paul called one of the centurions unto him, and said , Bring this young man unto the chief captain: for he hath a certain thing to tell him.
So he took him, and brought him to the chief captain, and said , Paul the prisoner called me unto him, and prayed me to bring this young man unto thee, who hath something to say unto thee.
And he called unto him two centurions, saying , Make ready two hundred soldiers to go to Caesarea, and horsemen threescore and ten, and spearmen two hundred, at the third hour of the night;
