12 But when Peter saw this, he replied to the people, "Men of Israel, why are you amazed at this, or why do you gaze at us, as if by our own power or piety we had made him walk ? 19 But Peter and John answered and said to them, "Whether it is right in the sight of God to give heed to you rather than to God, you be the judge ; 8 And Peter responded to her, "Tell me whether you sold the land for such and such a price ?" And she said, "Yes, that was the price." 29 But Peter and the apostles answered, "We must obey God rather than men. 24 But Simon answered and said, "Pray to the Lord for me yourselves, so that nothing of what you have said may come upon me." 34 The eunuch answered Philip and said, "Please tell me, of whom does the prophet say this ? Of himself or of someone else ?" 37 [And Philip said, "If you believe with all your heart, you may." And he answered and said, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."] 13 But Ananias answered, "Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much harm he did to Your saints at Jerusalem ; 46 For they were hearing them speaking with tongues and exalting God. Then Peter answered, 9 "But a voice from heaven answered a second time, 'What God has cleansed, no longer consider unholy.'

James's Judgment

13 After they had stopped speaking, James answered, saying, "Brethren , listen to me. 15 And the evil spirit answered and said to them, "I recognize Jesus, and I know about Paul, but who are you?" 13 Then Paul answered, "What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart ? For I am ready not only to be bound, but even to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus." 8 "And I answered, 'Who are You, Lord ?' And He said to me, 'I am Jesus the Nazarene, whom you are persecuting.' 28 The commander answered, "I acquired this citizenship with a large sum of money." And Paul said, "But I was actually born a citizen." 10 When the governor had nodded for him to speak, Paul responded : "K nowing that for many years you have been a judge to this nation, I cheerfully make my defense, 25 But as he was discussing righteousness, self-control and the judgment to come, Felix became frightened and said, "Go away for the present, and when I find time I will summon you." 4 Festus then answered that Paul was being kept in custody at Caesarea and that he himself was about to leave shortly. 9 But Festus, wishing to do the Jews a favor, answered Paul and said, "Are you willing to go up to Jerusalem and stand trial before me on these charges?" 12 Then when Festus had conferred with his council, he answered, "You have appealed to Caesar, to Caesar you shall go." 16 "I answered them that it is not the custom of the Romans to hand over any man before the accused meets his accusers face to face and has an opportunity to make his defense against the charges.
