Acts 4:15; Acts 5:26; Acts 9:17; Acts 10:7; Acts 16:39; Acts 23:32; Acts 28:29 (New American Standard)

15 But when they had ordered them to leave the Council, they began to confer with one another, 26 Then the captain went along with the officers and proceeded to bring them back without violence (for they were afraid of the people, that they might be stoned ). 17 So Ananias departed and entered the house, and after laying his hands on him said, "Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road by which you were coming, has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit." 7 When the angel who was speaking to him had left, he summoned two of his servants and a devout soldier of those who were his personal attendants, 39 and they came and appealed to them, and when they had brought them out, they kept begging them to leave the city. 32 But the next day, leaving the horsemen to go on with him, they returned to the barracks. 29 [When he had spoken these words, the Jews departed, having a great dispute among themselves.]
