17 But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name. 21 So when they had further threatened them , they let them go , finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which was done . 24 Then answered Simon, and said , Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me. 20 Arise therefore, and get thee down , and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them. 28 And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company , or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean. 12 And the Spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting . Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man's house: 19 Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only. 28 And though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain . 28 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; 28 But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying , Do thyself no harm: for we are all here. 36 Seeing then that these things cannot be spoken against, ye ought to be quiet , and to do nothing rashly. 40 For we are in danger to be called in question for this day's uproar, there being no cause whereby we may give an account of this concourse. 25 As touching the Gentiles which believe , we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication. 14 And they came to the chief priests and elders, and said , We have bound ourselves under a great curse, that we will eat nothing until we have slain Paul. 22 So the chief captain then let the young man depart , and charged him, See thou tell no man that thou hast shewed these things to me. 29 Whom I perceived to be accused of questions of their law, but to have nothing laid to his charge worthy of death or of bonds. 23 And he commanded a centurion to keep Paul, and to let him have liberty, and that he should forbid none of his acquaintance to minister or come unto him. 17 Therefore, when they were come hither, without any delay on the morrow I sat on the judgment seat, and commanded the man to be brought forth . 25 But when I found that he had committed nothing worthy of death, and that he himself hath appealed to Augustus, I have determined to send him. 6 Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen , or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while , and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds , and said that he was a god. 18 Who, when they had examined me, would have let me go , because there was no cause of death in me.
