24 'O Lord GOD, You have begun to show Your servant Your greatness and Your strong hand ; for what god is there in heaven or on earth who can do such works and mighty acts as Yours? 7 "For what great nation is there that has a god so near to it as is the LORD our God whenever we call on Him? 8 "Or what great nation is there that has statutes and judgments as righteous as this whole law which I am setting before you today ? 26 'For who is there of all flesh who has heard the voice of the living God speaking from the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived ? 29 'Oh that they had such a heart in them, that they would fear Me and keep all My commandments always , that it may be well with them and with their sons forever ! 2 a people great and tall, the sons of the Anakim, whom you know and of whom you have heard it said, 'Who can stand before the sons of Anak ?' 5 "The officers also shall speak to the people, saying, 'Who is the man that has built a new house and has not dedicated it? Let him depart and return to his house, otherwise he might die in the battle and another man would dedicate it. 6 'Who is the man that has planted a vineyard and has not begun to use its fruit ? Let him depart and return to his house, otherwise he might die in the battle and another man would begin to use its fruit. 7 'And who is the man that is engaged to a woman and has not married her? Let him depart and return to his house, otherwise he might die in the battle and another man would marry her.' 8 "Then the officers shall speak further to the people and say, 'Who is the man that is afraid and fainthearted ? Let him depart and return to his house, so that he might not make his brothers' hearts melt like his heart.'

Expiation of a Crime

1 "If a slain person is found lying in the open country in the land which the LORD your God gives you to possess, and it is not known who has struck him, 67 "In the morning you shall say, 'Would that it were evening !' And at evening you shall say, 'Would that it were morning !' because of the dread of your heart which you dread, and for the sight of your eyes which you will see. 12 "It is not in heaven, that you should say, 'Who will go up to heaven for us to get it for us and make us hear it, that we may observe it?' 13 "Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, 'Who will cross the sea for us to get it for us and make us hear it, that we may observe it?' 29 "Blessed are you, O Israel ; Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD, Who is the shield of your help And the sword of your majesty ! So your enemies will cringe before you, And you will tread upon their high places."
