7 'You shall have no other gods before Me. 14 "You shall not follow other gods, any of the gods of the peoples who surround you, 4 "For they will turn your sons away from following Me to serve other gods ; then the anger of the LORD will be kindled against you and He will quickly destroy you. 19 "It shall come about if you ever forget the LORD your God and go after other gods and serve them and worship them, I testify against you today that you will surely perish. 16 "Beware that your hearts are not deceived, and that you do not turn away and serve other gods and worship them. 28 and the curse, if you do not listen to the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside from the way which I am commanding you today, by following other gods which you have not known. 2 and the sign or the wonder comes true, concerning which he spoke to you, saying, 'Let us go after other gods (whom you have not known ) and let us serve them,' 6 "If your brother, your mother's son, or your son or daughter, or the wife you cherish, or your friend who is as your own soul, entice you secretly, saying, 'Let us go and serve other gods ' (whom neither you nor your fathers have known, 13 some worthless men have gone out from among you and have seduced the inhabitants of their city, saying, 'Let us go and serve other gods ' (whom you have not known ), 3 and has gone and served other gods and worshiped them, or the sun or the moon or any of the heavenly host, which I have not commanded, 20 'But the prophet who speaks a word presumptuously in My name which I have not commanded him to speak, or which he speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.' 5 "The officers also shall speak to the people, saying, 'Who is the man that has built a new house and has not dedicated it? Let him depart and return to his house, otherwise he might die in the battle and another man would dedicate it. 6 'Who is the man that has planted a vineyard and has not begun to use its fruit ? Let him depart and return to his house, otherwise he might die in the battle and another man would begin to use its fruit. 7 'And who is the man that is engaged to a woman and has not married her? Let him depart and return to his house, otherwise he might die in the battle and another man would marry her.' 2 and she leaves his house and goes and becomes another man's wife, 14 and do not turn aside from any of the words which I command you today, to the right or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them. 30 "You shall betroth a wife, but another man will violate her; you shall build a house, but you will not live in it; you shall plant a vineyard, but you will not use its fruit. 32 "Your sons and your daughters shall be given to another people, while your eyes look on and yearn for them continually ; but there will be nothing you can do. 36 "The LORD will bring you and your king, whom you set over you, to a nation which neither you nor your fathers have known, and there you shall serve other gods, wood and stone. 64 "Moreover, the LORD will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other end of the earth ; and there you shall serve other gods, wood and stone, which you or your fathers have not known. 26 'They went and served other gods and worshiped them, gods whom they have not known and whom He had not allotted to them. 28 and the LORD uprooted them from their land in anger and in fury and in great wrath, and cast them into another land, as it is this day.' 17 "But if your heart turns away and you will not obey, but are drawn away and worship other gods and serve them, 18 "But I will surely hide My face in that day because of all the evil which they will do, for they will turn to other gods. 20 "For when I bring them into the land flowing with milk and honey, which I swore to their fathers, and they have eaten and are satisfied and become prosperous, then they will turn to other gods and serve them, and spurn Me and break My covenant.
