11 also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will, 13 In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation -having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, 15 For this reason I too, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 3 Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. 5 even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved ), 22 in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling ; 9 (Now this expression, "He ascended," what does it mean except that He also had descended into the lower parts of the earth ? 10 He who descended is Himself also He who ascended far above all the heavens, so that He might fill all things.)

The Christian's Walk

17 So this I say, and affirm together with the Lord, that you walk no longer just as the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind, 32 Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you. 2 and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma. 3 But immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints ; 11 Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; 12 for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. 20 always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father ; 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of the body. 24 But as the church is subject to Christ, so also the wives ought to be to their husbands in everything. 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, 28 So husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself ; 29 for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ also does the church, 33 Nevertheless, each individual among you also is to love his own wife even as himself, and the wife must see to it that she respects her husband. 9 And masters, do the same things to them, and give up threatening, knowing that both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him. 21 But that you also may know about my circumstances , how I am doing, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, will make everything known to you.
