13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed , ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened ; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 1 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, 13 Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory. 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 26 Be ye angry , and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: 29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers . 31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; 1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. 4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath : but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. 5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; 9 And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 22 Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts.
