Young's Literal Translation
'They have blown the trumpet and made everything ready, but no one is going to the battle, for My wrath is against all their multitude.
"You have not gone up into the breaches, nor did you build the wall around the house of Israel to stand in the battle on the day of the LORD .
'Pharaoh with his mighty army and great company will not help him in the war, when they cast up ramps and build siege walls to cut off many lives.
"Persia and Lud and Put were in your army, your men of war. They hung shield and helmet in you; they set forth your splendor.
"Your wealth, your wares, your merchandise, Your sailors and your pilots, Your repairers of seams, your dealers in merchandise And all your men of war who are in you, With all your company that is in your midst, Will fall into the heart of the seas On the day of your overthrow.
"Nor do they lie beside the fallen heroes of the uncircumcised, who went down to Sheol with their weapons of war and whose swords were laid under their heads; but the punishment for their iniquity rested on their bones, though the terror of these heroes was once in the land of the living.
"You will be glutted at My table with horses and charioteers, with mighty men and all the men of war," declares the Lord GOD.
