11 In that day¹ the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to reclaim the surviving remnant² of his people from Assyria,³ from Lower Egypt, from Upper Egypt,⁴ from Cush,^a⁵ from Elam,⁶ from Babylonia,^b from Hamath⁷ and from the islands⁸ of the Mediterranean.⁹ 12 He will raise a banner¹⁰ for the nations and gather¹¹ the exiles of Israel;¹² he will assemble the scattered people¹³ of Judah from the four quarters of the earth.¹⁴ 13 Ephraim's jealousy will vanish, and Judah's enemies^c will be destroyed; Ephraim will not be jealous of Judah, nor Judah hostile toward Ephraim.¹⁵
